Current project looking at how to create smoke like effects upon the scanner surface.  My fascination with fluids and it's correlation to the human body has sparked off a series of experimentation into using Saliva as a base fluid, combining this with various inks and household fluids to generate chemical reactions. My reason for choosing Saliva is because it's composition is 99.5% water and yet it is this small 0.5% that differenciates it's consistency from the water around us. This particular fluid combination creates a variety of smoky layers due to the nature of the fluids viscosity, combining the aesthetic beauty of natural forming patterns with the vibrancy of man-made colours and this effect inspired the title 'Fluid Smoke'.
