Fragments

As part of my series Fluid Traces, I am specifically looking at natural fluid patterns found in nature, but removing any aspect of colour to redirect the focus purely onto the patterns that naturally form.
In Fragments I am looking st the traces left behind when fluids combine and dry in a state of permanent suspended motion. Unlike my previous work, where the focus has been to enlarge the work, this piece is looking at the reactions on a microcosmic scale : down-scaling the pieces to mere fragments of a whole. Each tiny trace is mounted onto a microscope slide to further enhance the concept of examination and dissection and to reflect upon how similar the fluid patterns are to those found in microbiology.
This particular set can be displayed as a whole or in smaller quantities.
