Fluid Traces I (2013)
Within my fluid work I am constantly trying to find unique ways to suspend and capture fluid motion. For this set, I have created a set of work on paper that corresponds to the element of air, relating to imagination and childhood. Each image has been created by combining the soap film of bubbles with ink to create a direct print onto paper, projecting spontaneous fluid flow patterns onto the surface. This image has then been through an inverted scan process to create the final image, zoomed in so the minor fluid details can be seen.
